Greek Mythology Oracle - Persephone's Folly


Title: Persephone's Folly

Artist's Comment: She should not have eaten those pomegranate seeds. *winks* I enjoyed painting this one. Two days from start to finish and not a single moment of frustration. I think I'm on a roll. There is but one problem -- my partner won't let me start another until tomorrow. I'm on an enforced break this evening.

wow she is a beauty, also the background I really, truly LOVE the way you have painted the colours and the way the light behind the tree right at the back of the image moves your eye around the work, is sheer delight. Stunning.

Wow! She is beautiful! The colours are amazing, the contrast between her warm tones and the bluey woody background, Beautiful. One of my faves I'd have to say.
Try to enjoy your break this eve...I know that's not an easy thing to do when the Muse is whispering in your ear! ;)

Thankee, lovely. I must say that I did have fun with the colours and the background on this one

And you know what? I'm finding it rather easy to ignore my muse right at this moment. Thankfully with it being almost a full moon I am easily distracted right now ;)

I love pomegranate seeds... mmmmmm... yummy! The first thing that grabbed me in this was her skin, it looks so smooth and almost luminescent, really gorgeous :) Love her hair too, and her pose adds a dynamic feel. The background is fab, I wish I had the patience to do backgrounds like that.
